LAKE OKLAWAHA-CANCELLED

Lake Oklawaha KOA Aerial

Be advised that we ain’t gonna go to Lake Oklawaha. Why, you may ask? Turns out it’s a bunch of reasons.

From Rally VP Mark McCluski:

Be advised that we ain’t gonna go to Lake Oklawaha. Why, you may ask? Turns out it’s a bunch of reasons.

1: An on-site inspection tells us this would not be a happy experience for the club, especially in light of what rally-goers have been saying they want in a rally recently.

2: Change in management and a split from KOA is sending signals of reservation and billing problems.

3: It’s been hard to get a hold of camp staff to work with productively

If you have a reservation you should contact the campground to cancel and get a refund on your deposit.

If you have made a reservation please let me know in case there's confusion at the camp.

There are alternative campgrounds in my sights, most like not in Florida. More on that to follow.

Make your reservations by phone. Tell them you are with the

me they’ll make every effort to give us sites near the clubhouse. DIRECTIONS TO FOLLOW IN NEXT NEWSLETTER. GPS is wrong.
