Campsites and cabins
Sites held: 20 full hook-up RV sites are being held for the Chinooks.
Member rate: Approximately $90 per night plus tax. Includes 10% rally discount. Final 2027 rates may vary.
Two deluxe cabins will be held for the group.
Deluxe cabins are currently around $200 per night, subject to change. (Primitive cabins without bathrooms were offered but declined, respectfully).
Club room and kitchen
The group will have exclusive use of the club room for the duration of the rally.
There is no fee for the use of the club room. The club room has a Kamping Kitchen.
Tours and activities
Plantation tour: The KOA is affiliated with a local plantation, and members will be able to sign up for a plantation tour.
Charleston bus tour: If we have enough people interested, a Charleston tour company can send a bus to the campground for a guided tour of Charleston.
Food options
Hunt Brothers Pizza is available at the campground.
I’m (Mark) told that food trucks have been available to come on site; I’m looking into this.
About 10 miles north on 17 is a place called Seewee that has some of the best fried shrimp I’ve ever had! Too small for a club meal, I think, but you may want to check it out at some point

There’s a bodacious amount of stuff nearby in case anybody needs anything.
Reservation instructions
Members may begin making reservations immediately.
Reservations should be made no later than December 15, 2026.
Members should call 843-849-5177 and ask for Samantha (Sam).
Sam works Tuesday through Sunday, 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
ALWAYS mention that they are booking for the Chinook rally, March 14–19, 2027.
A one-night deposit will be required at the time of booking.
